Women’s Center

Opening April 2021

Our Place is a dedicated building at CAMPV (Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans) for women who are currently serving in the armed forces, including Reserve and Guard members, military spouses, and Veterans. Children are welcome.

In January of 2020, the Women’s Fund of Smith County turned our vision into a reality after awarding CampV with a $100,000 grant from the Women’s Fund of Smith County.  CampV is grateful for the support we have received from the Women’s Fund and our amazing supports who are answering the call for our Veterans and their families.

“Honoring the Path of Women Veterans,” Our Place will directly provide or connect women to services and resources to help them transition from military to civilian life and to the range of services available to them at any stage of current military service or veteran life.  Programs and services will include

  • Work readiness
  • Education resources
  • Support groups
  • Health and wellness

CampV (Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans) has answered the call!

We are calling on women military members and Veterans to tell us what they want to see at Our Place. How can we best serve you?
