Who We Are
Veterans, active duty service members, and military families are drawn to the peaceful lakes and piney woods of East Texas. But while the setting offers serenity, finding support and wellness resources can be frustrating.
Simple questions—Where can I go? Who offers these services in East Texas? Why is it so hard to find help? Does anyone even care?—are often met with unhelpful answers.
“We don’t do that; you need to go somewhere else.”
Building connections with fellow military families can be time-consuming, frustrating, and costly. Sadly, many stop trying.
That’s where CampV, a Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans, steps in.
Located on a unique 20-acre campus in Tyler, TX, CampV brings together local Veteran Service Providers in one convenient location. Veteran Volunteer Advocates meet personally with each client to understand their needs, then connect them to the right resources through a trusted network of support. Here, military families can take real steps forward—without the runaround.
ETVCC Tyler is honored to be one of 4 community organizations in Texas recognized by the national Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB).

The capital letter “V” in CampV stands for Veterans. At CampV, we greatly respect all of our service men and women and capitalizing Veteran is symbolic of our reverence for their service.
